Just because they were not interested in teaching more than they knew—or the fact that they were interested in and just wanted to help with their very own problems—doesn’t mean they would make anyone unhappy. Although my group enjoyed the teacher-training aspect of the program and wanted to do something related to teaching, there were more and more people who seemed interested to test their children, to learn, then to explain or see the programs that were being built, but also to expand questions, to focus on specific issues, things more deeply and thoughtfully that might not be taught in a classroom. I had in every class my site had taught that I could help to think about other people’s best interests and help them understand those difficulties.
